BBQ 97: The First Annual Hilo Bay BBQ Cook Off was a huge success. Participants and teams gathered Tuesday July 3rd to begin marinating and getting their beefs ready for the big BBQ cook off. POKE CATEGORY: Judged on July 3rd. Six of eight teams were entered. This was a close competition. There was less than 8 tenths of a point between first and third place.
